Portfolio Overview
A portfolio is a set of projects and associated project data. Portfolio project data are displayed and modified in the Portfolio form. The Portfolio form is where individual projects are added, opened, and deleted. Bubble charts, sensitivity charts, ranking charts, simulations, and optimizations all saved and managed within the Portfolio form.
Portfolios can be created, opened, duplicated, and deleted using the Portfolio List form This form is also used for opening the Portfolio Dashboard form.
Optsee® Portfolios are very powerful and comprehensive databases for managing your project portfolios. For example, you can:
- Open and modify projects from the Portfolio form.
- Open and modify project attributes using the Attribute forms and the Attribute List form.
- Perform Simulation-Prioritizations using the Optsee Prioritizer.
- Perform, save, and compare optimizations using the Optsee Optimizer.
- Track portfolio baseline trends using the Baseline Trends chart
- Quickly sort by column, or by using the Portfolio Sort Editor for complex sorts.
- Perform simple and complex queries using the Portfolio Query Editor.
- Save custom views of a portfolio using Portfolio Views.
- Modify multiple project selections using the Modify Selection form.
- Perform Simulation-Prioritizations using the Optsee Prioritizer.
- Perform, save, and compare optimizations using the Optsee Optimizer.
- Print and export the portfolio data to a text file that can be read by other applications such as Microsoft® Excel.
- Import project data using templates.
