    Legend Item Form

    Form Overview

    Use the Legend Item form to create, duplicate, or edit a custom legend item. This form opens after you click the [New], [Duplicate], or [Open] button above the Legend Item List form. At the bottom of the form are buttons for you to [Save] or [Cancel] the process.

    Legend Item Name Form Field:

    Legend Item Name field: Enter or edit the name for the Legend Item in this text field. The Legend Item name must be unique and cannot exceed 48 characters, including spaces.

    Form Buttons:

    Color: Click on the color square to open the color picker to select a color for the legend item. Note that "white" represents the transparent color.

    Pattern Palette: Click on the pattern square to select a pattern for the legend item from a drop-down selection of 64 patterns.

    Pattern Color: Click on the color square to open the color picker to select a color for selected the legend item pattern.

    The combined color, pattern, and pattern color combination is previewed in the Preview box on the right side of the form.

    [Save]: Click on this button to save the new custom legend item.

    [Cancel]: Click on this button to cancel and close form. Any changes will not be saved.
