    The Distribution List Form

    Form Overview

    When you run a simulation-prioritization the simulation generates a distribution of outcomes. Optsee displays this distribution in a histogram in the Distribution Detail form. By examining these histograms, you can see how the distribution is skewed and whether it is smooth or discontinuous.

    The Distribution List Form is opened by clicking on the [Distrib. Chart] button on the Simulation Summary Results Form.

    The Distribution List Form displays a scrollable list of all the projects in a prioritized portfolio so you can quickly scan through the portfolio. The top of the form displays the information about the prioritization, and each histogram row contains the project name, average value, standard deviation, median value, highest value, and lowest value.

    You can open the individual project histogram in the Distribution Detail form by double-clicking on the project row, or clicking on the row to select it and then clicking [Open].

    Distribution List Form Buttons

    [Open]: This button is enabled when you select a project row. Click on this button to open the selected histogram in the Distribution Detail form.

    [Close]: Click on this button to close the Distribution List Form.
